Flying Into San Jose

The most convenient airport to fly into if you're coming from out of town to join us at the wedding is San Jose International Airport, in the heart of San Jose (airport code SJC).

The airport has two terminals, one modern, and the other a bit older. If you are not flying American or Southwest, you will be exiting the plane on a staircase that they wheel up to the plane. The good news is that when they do this, you can leave from the front OR back of the aircraft which means the plane empties twice as fast.

Don't be alarmed as you make your final approach to see 40 story buildings passing by a little close for comfort below you...this is totally normal. The approach to San Jose Intl. runs directly over downtown San Jose. As a matter of fact, if you spend any time downtown during your stay, you will no doubt see many planes flying right over your head.
